Easter Card with Easter Egg Die and Large Bow Die

Hi, it's Emily and I'm back with the third in a series of three videos. I shared the other two videos earlier this week and you can find them HERE. Today's post focuses on the Easter card that features the Easter Egg Die, and includes the large bow die.

To coordinate with the Easter Gift Tag, I used the same the island blue cardstockIt Factor grass and Homemade bow. I also coloured the images using the same colours that were featured on the tag.

I used the Easter Egg Die to die cut a frame into the front panel which houses the scene. The large bow die is the perfect embellishment for the top of the egg.

'Bucky' the bunny, the purple bird and the sentiment are all from A Magical Spring (Magical Spring Icons). The pink chick and butterfly are from Spring Fling (Spring Fling Icons).

The grassy hill was die cut using the Quotables Dies and I heat embossed the sentiment on to the blue sky, just like the tag.

I hope this special video series inspires you to create cheerful spring and Easter-theme cards. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Bow Die How-To + Easter Gift Tag

Hi, it's Emily here and I have two videos for you today. The first one is a how-to video on using the Baby Bow Die, as well as the larger bow die included in the Easter Egg Die. Both of these were released this month as part of the Paper Smooches Easter Collection.

Following the product review video, I have a second video where I used the Baby Bow Die on the adorable little bunny from Spring Fling (Spring Fling Icons). The bow makes her even cuter than she already is!

The sentiment, also from Spring Fling, was heat embossed on to the largest of the Gift Tags Dies. The patterned paper for the tag is from We R Memory Keepers' It Factor 6x6 paper pad and the paper for the bunny's bow is from Jen Hadfield's Homemade paper pad. I finished the tag with white Hemptique cord.

Here's a side-by-side comparison of two coordinating projects using the Baby Bow Die and the larger bow from the Easter Egg Die. They are so incredibly fabulous and fun to use! You need them. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll be back soon with the third video for this series!

Hello Love, Bee Mine

Hi, it's Emily here with a springtime card that is sure to brightening anyone's day! Are you ready for warmer weather? I sure am! ;)

I used quite a few Paper Smooches products on this card, including Bee Mine (Bee Mine Icons), Love & Cherish Word DiesSpring Fling (Spring Fling Icons), Hexalongs Dies and Tiny Hearts Dies.

A sheet of patterned paper behind vellum provides a subtle backdrop for the garden scene in the window. I embellished the big bee's wings with shaved ice and the little bee's wings with Wink of StellaI created my own enamel hearts using the Tiny Hearts Dies and glossy accents. Of course, the front panel and card base were cut from white linen cardstock.

{Video Hop + Giveaways} Celebrating 100 Videos + 2500 Subscribers!!!

Hi, it's Emily here! Thank you for joining me to celebrate reaching 100 Videos and 2500 Subscribers on my YouTube Channel! I'm so grateful for all of you and I'm humbled to have such a wonderful audience for my art. The sentiment for my card says it all. Your support means the world to me.

My card features several Paper Smooches stamp sets and dies, including the brand new Religious Words dies. I placed the cat and dog from Chubby Chums (Chums Icons) on Spiffy Scooters (Scooter Icons) and the stamped sentiment is from Spiritual Sampler.

I masked off the front paws from the cat and dog when I stamped them on the coordinating die cuts and fussy cut them separately so I could place them on the front of the scooters. My son thought they were silly and wondered why they weren't holding on to the handlebars. ;)

I layered blessed from the Religious Words dies and completed the sentiment using stamps from Spiritual SamplerSince the dog's ear and tail took up more space than the cat, I added two Copic-coloured enamel hearts to balance out the space on that side of the card.

I invited nine amazing video artists and friends to celebrate with me and I know you'll enjoy watching their videos as much as I do! I encourage you to subscribe to their channels so you don't miss a minute of crafty inspiration. Happy hopping!
