Stamp and Die Versatility with Holly Jolly and Blessed Icons

Hi, it's Emily here, and this card features the garlands from the Holly Jolly stamp set as a multi-strand necklace.

The layered sentiment was created using the Christmas Words 2 dies.

I used the Blessed Icons dies to shape the neck and shoulders of the torso, as well as the collar of the shirt.

Holiday Bookmark with Inlaid Stockings Dies

Hi, it's Emily here and this project is a holiday bookmark using the inlaid die cutting technique. It features the new Stockings Dies and Holly Jolly stamp set, along with the Bookmarks Dies. My son has been asking for different bookmarks for different types of books. For example, he'll use a dinosaur bookmark for dinosaur books, a Lego bookmark for Lego books and a sea life bookmark for The Octonauts books.

To create the inlay, I die cut a front and back for the bookmark and die cut the stockings from the front panel. Before adhering the two bookmark panels together, used washi tape to split and stamp the sentiment from Holly Jolly. Then I die cut the stockings and cuffs from patterned paper and adhered the pieces in their respective spots.

Sav Challenge (masculine bday) with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}

Savannah O'Gwynn here today:) I'm joining in the fun with my OWN challenges again! I've got several challenges for myself (and for anyone that wants to join with me! LOL!). So for today's video, I try 3 challenges:

  1. to make a masculine birthday card
  2. make it CAS
  3. use up my stash of papers/embellishments
I'd say that I nailed 2 out of the 3 challenges:)

Here's the video *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!

Introducing A Holy Holiday, Holly Jolly and Just For You

Hi, it's Emily here, and I'm sharing the card I created for the August DT Blog Hop! I was asked to feature the A Holy Holiday stamp set. I used the reindeer, berry (for the nose), large snowflake and two-part sentiment. The mini tag is from the Holly Jolly stamp set and the small snowflake is from the Just For You stamp set, both of which are also from this release. All of these stamps will be available for purchase on September 1st and Just For You is the TAM set for September 2014.

The birch tree background was created with the Autumn Groves stamp set. The sky and hills were created with a combination of the Borders 1Stitched and Quotables dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Trav's Card Style (TCS) #5 with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}

Savannah O'Gwynn here today:) We are on vacation again.... and so I'm sharing a SUPER QUICK card and video!

I have to admit that this card was really quick to make... but that's because I was forced not to mess with it! We only had 10 hours left before leaving on vacation (8 of it sleeping)! I really needed something quick! So I wanted to give Trav's Card Style (TCS) another shot...
Sometimes I have good ideas, and sometimes I don't! LOL! I think if I add just a bit of thread and staples to this card... it would be better! LOL!

Here's the video *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!
