Stamping on Fabric with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}

Savannah O'Gwynn here, and for my video today, I share a technique that I've been waiting to try for 6 months! I used some Paper Smooches stamps to stamp on fabric with regular paint, and I created these super cute mug rugs!! LOVE!

Here's the video:

Here are some pictures of my finished mug rugs:

  1. Savannah, these coffee rugs are A-DOR-A-BLE! Cute, 'cosy,' and absolutely sweet! Oh, the possibilities! I've not tried creating with fabric, yet - and with your instructions (again a most fabulous video!!), incentive is amped waaaaaayyyy up! LOVE these!! Can you image a wee stack o'rugs wrapped up with a bow?? What gifts they would make, for sure!

  4. I think the TIm Holtz blending tool would be a great way to get the paint onto the stamp...Does the stamp need to be cleaned in between images if you are doing many on the fabric? What did you use the wax paper for? I missed that... Also I think you meant to say you stitch inside out and then turn it RIGHT side for the last stitch??? Not sure but wish you had taken a little more time to explain putting it together. I know it was more about the stamping but a complete project is what we want to take away with (and not mess it up after we did all that HARD work ~HAHA, I mean fun time~ stamping.) Thanks so much. ~God bless~
