Pinterest-Inspired Paint Strokes Card
Hi Virtual Smooches pals, Kalyn here! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start and that you're enjoying some stellar summer weather!
I'm back with my weekly video tutorial and a new card to share with you! I took to Pinterest to get some inspiration and found a gorgeous image of a painting that I wanted to replicate. Check out the pin here. It's from A Beautiful Mess, one of my favorite places for inspiration.
I took the Positive Strokes Two set to recreate the painting look and then topped it off with the Happy Birthday Words die. It's easy and gives you that artistic effect without having to break out the paints and brushes! Watch the video to see how it all came together:

Elegant Embossed Wedding Card
Hi friends, Kalyn here! I hope your week is off to a great start! I know Mondays can be a bit of a drag sometimes, but I always look at them as a fresh start. Plus, I've got a new card and video to share with you, so it's not all bad! :)
Since it's June and wedding season is in full swing, I wanted to create an elegant wedding card that you could make to give to a special couple on their big day. You could also give this as an anniversay card if you like!
I used Hubby & Wifey as well as the Congratulations die on this card and incorporated heat embossing and some gold metallic cardstock to amp up the elegance factor. I really love embossing on vellum, it just gives it the most special look and this technique even has a lace effect! Watch the video tutorial below or over on my YouTube channel to see how it all came together:

Awesum Dad Pie Chart Card
Hi there, Kalyn here! Today I've got a Father's Day card to share with you and a video tutorial to go with it! I've got lots of Father's Day projects that I've created using some different styles to fit the different guys in our lives. This one is for the lovable nerd, math-whiz or stats guy, featuring pie charts and the "aweSUM" sentiment.
I added some fun vellum pinked circles to give the card some dimension and interest. And you know I can't resist stamping on a patterned background. It's my favorite.
Well, I hope you liked the card and my video tutorial! For direct links to all the products I used, click the video to watch it over at YouTube and the product links are in the description box!
Thanks so much,
Kalyn

So with Mother's Day coming up this weekend, I wanted to share one last Mother's Day card idea! This one uses a mix of the Roses die set, the Retro Arrow die, a Flag Tags die and the Sassy Script stamp set. I wanted to use the Retro Arrow die and create a mask to create a misted background.

Fashion-Inspired Striped Floral Card
Hey friends! I'm back with another card and tutorial video! Today's card was totally inspired by an image I saw on a fashion blog and pinned on Pinterest.
Here's the link to the pin: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/81135230763667967/
When I'm stumped for inspiration, usually the first place I go is Pinterest or an old crafting magazine. As soon as I saw this photo, I knew what I wanted to do. I used the Blossoming Buds stamp set and dies as well as a rectangle from the Hullabaloo set that's perfect for a striped pattern!
