Start-to-Finish {2014 Yearly Journal}

Hello, friends:}

Savannah O'Gwynn here, and today I'd like to share another start-to-finish project. **I apologize for so many start-to-finish videos! I am having some major issues with technical difficulties- STILL! Please pray for these issues! I want to get back to "normal"!!! You wouldn't believe the issues I had with this video... and then what else happened tonight! Praise the Lord that this video ended up being found (after being lost/deleted)!!! THANK YOU for your prayers <3

Here's the video:
**And don't forget if you leave a comment, please add your blog address and email so I can visit you too:) love hearing from the VS followers when you've created something based off of one of our videos:) So keep leaving comments and links- you could be our next Virtual Smooches FF!!! ***If you don't have a blog-- email me a pic and let me know what inspired you!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

  2. Oh my gosh, Savannah, I can not tell you how much I love this project. See, I have a crazy-insane life, with 4 kids, a husband, 3 dogs, a job, my 3 design teams, and my blogging! But I love it all, of course ;) My whole life (and I mean from middle school years and on, too - I have all my datebooks and journals!) , I've kept the huge calendar that hangs on the fridge with all of our insane schedules, appointments, etc on it, and it's always a huge mess with scribbles all over it by the end of the year (you can imagine!). I also have my own calendar notebook thingee for myself, AND my on-line calendar (BasecamP) that is awesome. But when I need to look back on one of those calendars to find a specific date of when something happened, it's so hard! SOOOO, a little thing like this that you made is SO perfect! I can write the little things on it that I need to remember, like the day I broke my leg at a hotel. Or the day my 8th grade Nathan got his first letter from the high school, or my 10th grade Ally got her first letter from a college, or the day we got our new puppy. I love this idea SO much. I'll be e-mailing you to ask you for the PDF!

  4. This is SUCH an amazing project, Sav! First, I absolutely LOVE the design. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE, ADORE, am AMAZED by your designs. You've got a style like no one else out there, and I am floored by it every time!! I also love the idea of the yearly journal, and SUPER LOVE that you and Trav read them on NYE - what a heartwarming tradition! I've never, ever done a journal before, but you've got me thinking about it...!! I hope you can put an entry in your journal TODAY that the video issues are GONE!

  5. Savannah, due to my internet's technical difficulties (grrr...), I'm late, but here I am (hope this comment sticks, my 'crossed fingers' are cramping!) to say: AMAZING! Your creativity is beyond compare; already you've sparked ideas for journals that I could make for my niece and nephew's teachers for Valentine's Day. Your video - as always - is an absolute delight! LOVE x LOVE this heart-warming, thoughtful, memory-keeping, treasure-making project! In fact, I may have to create a journal entirely my own! Everything about this is AWESOME! Sending you a request for the PDF right away!! Hugs~c

  6. You may have inspired me to restart my journal! Can you show us sometime how you cut the "201" as one piece? Thank you!
