***This is a perfect creation for the Simon Says Stamp Monday- Nautical challenge!
I hope that you enjoyed my video!! I also hope that you will try making some stamped fabric pieces or die cut fabric for your next creation- I would love to see someone make a shirt or bag with this technique and their Paper Smooches stamps! And feel free to stamp some mug rugs-- remember Christmas is around the corner! Please link up your creations HERE-- I'd love to check them out:)
**And don't forget if you leave a comment, please add your blog address and email so I can visit you too:) I love hearing from the VS followers when you've created something based off of one of our videos:) So keep leaving comments and links- you could be our next Virtual Smooches FF!!!
I think I'm the Virtual Smooches Featured Fan this week because I was inspired to dig deeper in my Paper Smooches stash and make more mug rugs (THIS is the video that inspired me)! I love that I can die cut fabric using my PS dies:)
ANNNNNNNNNNNND..... I owe Travis a HUGE THANK YOU for finding my video. At around 11pm, we went to preview this video in iMovie and it was missing! I was super stressed out because I had updated my computer... and it caused this issue. I'm so thankful that he was able to figure out how to find this project and that I didn't have to rerecord/edit/etc!!!

ReplyDeleteThese are awesome!!!!!!! I just love the designs!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you took this a few steps even further and discovered even more cool ways to make the mug rugs! And guess what, I did it!! I went to the fabric store, bought some muslin and some flannel, and I sewed - I SEWED (first time ever - thanks to my Mom for all of her help!) a little heart pillow! I stamped the muslin with some PS stamps, so I will post a photo and link up as soon as I can (my camera is on the blink right now :( Thank you SO much for the inspiration! Oh, and thank you too for doing the research on the fabric paint - it definitely looks like acrylic is the way to go!
ReplyDeleteI tried stamping on fabric with acrylic paint but found that it washed off. What am I missing?
