Savannah O'Gwynn here, and today I'm sharing a couple of cards that I created for the PS SPARKS August Trend Watch challenge (HERE). I also share tips and tricks on how to stamp on transparencies, as well as ways to attach it to your creations:)
Here's the video:
Here's a couple of pictures of my finished card-- I actually layered two pieces of stamped transparency for this card! LOVE!

Different inks to use with transparencies (Stazon inks not included in this video- but it's recommended).
Different ways to add your transparencies to your creations.
I hope that that you are inspired to create some different design elements using transparencies and your PS stamps! If you want to join in the fun with the PS SPARKS challenge- there's still time! Link up your creations HERE!
**And don't forget if you leave a comment, please add your blog address and email so I can visit you too:) I love hearing from the VS followers when you've created something based off of one of our videos:) So keep leaving comments and links- you could be our next Virtual Smooches FF!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks again Savannah! I was stuck on what to do for the current Sparks challenge, but now I have ideas! YAY!!
ReplyDeleteInspiration+++!! Love this idea - and who knew (except for brilliant you!!) that 'old school' transparencies (oh, the days of the overhead projectors!) would have such a unique future in the card-making world! FABULOUS cards, excellent instructions, great stamping/ink tips - yes indeed, outstanding lesson!! I'll aim to be a good student and give this a try!! Hugs!

Another splendid idea Savannah, you are a treasure trove of inspiration!! TFS ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome video and awesome tips! I generally dismiss using transparencies, although I LOVE the look! I just normally end up making a huge mess - ink smudged everywhere! But with your tips and tricks added to my tool box, I will give it another chance - FOR SURE!!
ReplyDeleteI forgot how much I love using acetate or transparency film on my cards! Staz On is my "go to" ink, but you've shown some great alternatives. Wonderful tutorial, Sav! Thanks so much!
