Savannah O'Gwynn here, and today I'm answering some questions that you asked about some creations I made using spray painted paper and Paper Smooches stamps. Some of the questions are: How do you stamp on spray painted paper? How do you get a clean image?
Here's the video:
Here's a couple of pictures of my cards using spray painted paper:
Paper Smooches stamps: Hot Concoctions, Cyber Cafe, Hope, and Vegtastic
Use a glaze pen to make your image pop on spray painted paper.

ReplyDeleteLOVING the Bright Neon Color!! I am like you except I have NO Scrapbook carring stores near me!! I have to travel 3 hours just to go to a Hobby Lobby or Target so I LOVE this idea of using spray paint!! THANKS for sharing another Amazing video and have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)
ReplyDeleteGreat video Savannah - I would have never thought to spray paint - so clever! I was also wondering about another technique, and I feel silly asking because I'm sure I'm the only one in the world that doesn't know how to do it! I noticed on your monster card that you have accented it with ink splatters. I love this look and I've tried doing this a few times with some Ranger Ink Spray that I purchased. I thought that would be the right product to get the effect, but it sprays way too much and covers most of the page, when all I want is a tiny drip look like yours. Any tips for how to get accomplish this? Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video. Haven't yet started with spray painting but your explanation takes a lot of the guess work out of it.
ReplyDeleteYOU are neon-tastic, Sav! Another great video! Thanks for sharing your creative ideas!

ReplyDeleteSavannah....thank you for this great Neon tutorial. I have not tried it, but definitely will =)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Inspiring... makes me wonder what you can do with the Krylon metallic spray paints! Have you played around... do you know if you do one burst on a card... will it give you the paint drop look? I think I might have to try over the Memorial Day weekend. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteGreat video Sav. And awesome idea.
ReplyDeleteThis is great I love how bright the neon is, so many great tips too in terms of using the fixative and being able to emboss with regular ink!
