Cross-Stamp-Stitching with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}

Savannah O'Gwynn here, and in today's QUICK video I share how to create different images using a single Paper Smooches stamp and a cross-stitching pattern. I call this technique "Cross-Stamp-Stitching"!!! This means that we are cross-stitching with stamps!

Here's the video:
Here's a couple of pictures of my cross-stamp-stitching creations:

I really hope that you will try creating some Cross-Stamp-Stitching creations using your Paper Smooches X stamps!!!  Please leave a comment below with a link to your project! I'd love to check it out:)

**And don't forget if you leave a comment, please add your blog address and email so I can visit you too:) love hearing from the VS followers when you've created something based off of one of our videos:) So keep leaving comments and links!!!

A couple of weeks ago {HERE}, I shared one of our youngest Virtual Smooches fans watching one of my videos. Today I would like to share one of our more mature fans:) This photo is of Trav's Poppie watching a video in my studio. He looks like he is sleeping-- but I promise you that he enjoyed watching that craft episode:) LOL!

I hope that you will send me pics of you watching our VS videos, as well as links to your creations using some of our techniques!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

  2. Savannah - your ideas never cease to amaze! Cross-stitching on cards = fantastic! Before I *discovered* card-making, cross-stitching was HIGH on my craft list (still have the baby sampler to finish for my nephew - a Noah's ark theme), so combining the two would be wonderful! I'll need to wrap my head around how to make PS images "cross-stitchable"...look for me giving this a 'go' in the near future. LOVE the video; LOVE your cards!! Have a terrific Thursday.

  16. LOVE this!! I have seen the Heart stitched stamp and have been wanting to create with it!! I have several ideas written down in my journal, just haven't been able to play around with any of them yet!! Maybe, this will give me the push I needed to try some of my ideas!!?? I LOVED your video and the AMAZING Inspiration!! Such a FUN FUN FUN Idea!! My son's school created an AMAZING Push Pin Piece of art of the Principle for the school!! They used like 4,900 Push Pins and it took them ALL year to create it, but it is AWESOME!! This is a similar idea only with stamping and I LOVE it!! THANKS Again and have a Fabulous Week!! P.S if I am able to create one of my ideas I will post a picture of the Push Pin Portrait too!! ;)

  17. Oh my goodness Savannah, this is just SO cool! I love the look. The fox is unbelievably amazing, and I love the simpleness and sweetness of the little chevrons. Now I must set out to get an "x" stamp so I can try this myself. Thank you SO much for the tutorial - I love how you always have something a little different to explore!
